Lira, one of five rescue lions from Ukraine who have been rehomed at the Big Cat Sanctuary in Ashford, Kent, UK. The first was Yuna, who came to the UK in 2024 after being left unable to walk due to severe shellshock from missile attacks. She is now joined by Rori, Amani, Lira, and Vanda. The lions have endured neglect and abuse, and for four out of the five, their new home will be the first time they have ever touched grass.

The #Jets are signing FA WR Josh Reynolds today, sources say, and he gets a 1-year deal worth up to $5M.

From our folks at NFL Research, this is how the seeding would’ve looked for this past postseason under the #Lions’ new proposal to seed by record. So Wild Card weekend would’ve been similar (LAC home vs HOU though) but NFC would’ve been:

LAR at PHI
TB at MIN
GB at WAS

The other two proposals in that thread above:

The #Lions propose to eliminate automatic first downs for defensive holding.

The #Eagles propose to align the regular season OT rules with the postseason rules, giving each team a chance to possess the ball in a 15-min period.

This is interesting: The #Lions proposed a bylaw change that would allow wild card teams to be seeded higher than division winners based on record.

This would’ve been helpful to the rival #Vikings last year, and could be a factor in future years in competitive divisions….
